I had to have my darling chocolate lab put to sleep on Friday aged what a lovely dedicated room this was done in nothing clinical about it Tracy and her team including the lady on reception were amazing with no rushing so caring and compassionate thank you so much from all of us

I've been here a few times over the last few weeks with all my dogs for various reasons and the level of care each time has been unparalleled. From the reception staff to the vet nurses to the vets, it is brilliant. Nothing is too much, they offer reassurance, facts and as much information as you want (and being curious, I like to know it all🤣). I love the ease of booking and being able to see the same vet every time which is particularly important for my suspicious terrier. They are also completely accepting of my holistic ways with my trio.

I cannot thank these guys enough for the way they looked after our boy. We was taken into a cosy room with our dog who was very poorly, gave us all the time and space to say our goodbyes. It was very comforting and lovely that they think of our pet as a family member. It was a cosy family room where our boy left us not a vet. Thank you Horizon Vets for all that you done to make a hard moment comforting ❤️

Great quality care is given here, you can tell they all care! Lovely, friendly, welcoming, professional team, who interact in a playful yet professional and caring manner with their four legged clients to help ease any nervous feelings. My dog Bailey was nervous, but the lady he saw whose name I cannot remember this time around, was professional yet interacted in a playful, caring, professional and soothing manner to put him at ease.

Recently moved our 4 cats and dog to Horizon vets and it was the best decision we have made! The practice is beautiful, the staff are wonderful and you can tell each and every one of them love their furry patients. Unfortunately after suddenly becoming ill, we lost one of our cats yesterday. Alex and the team worked as hard as they could with running bloods and scans to work out what was wrong with Binx but unfortunately he couldn’t be saved. Every team member went above and beyond for Binx and us and made an awful situation a little less heavy with their kindness. We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Horizon Vets. Could I please thank not just Alex but the whole team behind the scenes at this amazing veterinary in Newport. The kindness and compassion shown to our dearly departed squeak was truly amazing. For anyone in Newport that uses the well established vets near beechwood park you should try and change to Horizon straight away, from the amazing reception staff to the service by Alex this place goes above and beyond. Took my dog for a consultation and the vet was lovely, even though my dog was very vocal. The reception has little booths which are really good at keeping the dogs calm and secluded. Very clean and large. A fantastic experience for both me and my dog. Totally recommend.

From the very beginning, it gave us so much reassurance knowing she was in such safe, gentle, and loving hands—especially after the difficult experience we’d had with our Cooper at our previous vets. This time was different. We could truly feel that every single one of you cared about Coco just as deeply as we did, and that meant more to us than words can say. It’s clear that you did everything possible to give her the best quality of life she could have, and we will always be grateful for the kindness and dedication you showed her—and us—throughout. The thoughtful card you sent touched us deeply. We had never received something like that before, and it genuinely meant the world to know that you cared enough to go that extra step during such a difficult time. Please keep being the amazing, compassionate people that you are. What you do every day makes such a difference, and although you may not hear it often enough, your work and your kindness do not go unnoticed. The world truly needs more people like you, and we feel so lucky that Coco had you all by her side🤍

Horizon Vets are the only vets I have spoken to since I got Ozzy 2 years ago that actually makes me feel like they care, Ozzy my border collie loves going there as they are so happy to see him and so helpful making him feel comfortable. I trust them fully with Ozzy which is saying a lot as he is everything to me, as a plus they also are clearly not just in the business to make loads of money and charge people you loads, half the price of everywhere else and very helpful with payment options. I will be staying with Horizon Vets and hope they are here to stay.
