Fields vets show they care about your companion animals' wellbeing. Staff are helpful and make an effort to find ways to get animals back on their feet. Pet Health Club is great value for money.

I’m really disappointed with the care my 16-year-old dog received. He was misdiagnosed and I was charged £480 for blood tests and a urine sample, yet his UTI was left untreated for several weeks. I decided to change practices, and my new vet diagnosed the UTI immediately. A consultation, urine test and antibiotics cost £91, and my dog is finally getting the treatment he needed. I hope he’ll now be on the mend, but the previous experience was extremely upsetting and costly.

The visit was great. The clinician answered all my questions regarding dental treatment in full and was very friendly. I felt that my cat was well taken care of. The reception staff were lovely as well 😊

Awful experience at this vets. I’m a new dog owner with an 8-week-old Rottweiler who went in for his first check-up — and we both left traumatised. The vet who came to collect us from reception (apparently the Clinical Director) seemed disinterested from the start. The exam table was covered in dog hair, which made me hesitant to put my unvaccinated puppy on it. The appointment felt like a tick-box exercise with little engagement or care. During the examination, the vet squeezed my puppy’s head so hard he yelped loudly. I was then told I “needed to get on top of this” because he’s a Rottweiler and “needs socialising.” My pup is well socialised — he was calm and friendly in reception — so this was not about behaviour but about rough handling. The vet then gave my puppy a random treat that had been left on the table, even admitting he didn’t know where it came from. We were advised to book him in for dew claw removal under general anaesthetic — at just 8 weeks old! To make matters worse, we were sent away with the wrong worming tablets because the vet didn’t listen when I explained we already had his 12-week dose. There was zero compassion, no real communication, and I left feeling completely inadequate as a new dog owner. I had many questions but didn’t feel comfortable asking them. We’ve since moved to another vet, and my puppy is thriving. I would absolutely not recommend this clinic if you want your dog treated gently and respectfully, or if you expect even basic empathy from your vet.

Avoid this Vets at all costs. My sister, a first time dog owner, took her 9 week old puppy here for his first appointment and both were left traumatised by their first experiences. Her pup was forcefully gripped by his head and chin whilst he screamed in distress. The table was dirty with dog hairs all over it. There was a left over “treat” from another dog that the vet admitted even he didn’t know where it had come from and what it was, whilst her pup ate it. She was berated for not letting her pup get used to other people when he had met several new people in his first week home and been to 5 new places. The treatment left her feeling completely inadequate and left her pup scared and anxious. What’s more, she even left having been given the wrong worming tablet! Will be spreading the word to all pet owners, do not ever take your beloved pets to this Vets!! If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Heartless and horrible, they do not care about your animal, all they care about is how much money they can get off you. Wanted to put my dog in for 4 grand surgery without x-raying her or confirming the problem and within 2 days of pain killers she was completely fine and back to normal. They show no attention or care to your animal and the vet actually stepped back from my dog in disgust. If you have a flat face breed they will judge you and look down on you before you've even walked through the door. I've now gone to another vets who actually care about my animal and will never use fields vets again.

My sister had to take her dog here to be put to sleep yesterday, and the experience was appalling. A different vet had already confirmed that euthanasia was the kindest option, but at the final appointment, the vet started talking about an operation, which was completely unnecessary and very upsetting in that moment. Worse still, the dog wasn’t even sedated first she was injected straight away on the table. The whole process felt rushed, cold, and without compassion. This was meant to be a peaceful goodbye, but instead it was deeply distressing for my sister, who then had to walk out into a waiting room full of animals straight after putting her dog to sleep. No pet or owner should be treated this way. I am appalled at the lack of compassion shown and the coldness of said Vet. Absolutely disgraceful.

Took my cat, Mouse for his first visit yesterday and everything from the greeting at reception to the thorough examination by the vet was brilliant. I left feeling very reassured that my cat will be well looked after. Mouse can be very timid in new situations but was quickly settled by the vet when he was seen.
